BCI Engineers and Scientists, Inc. completed a subsurface exploration for State Farm Florid Insurance Company to determine if damage to the subject property is the result of sinkhole/settlement activity. It is the professional opinion of BCI that sinkhole activity can not be ruled out as the result of damage to this house. Recommended remediation is for a two phase grout program, the first phase being a deep compaction grout using thirty exterior mini-piles, twelve interior mini-piles and approximately 250 cubic yards of grout. Followed by a shallow chemical grout program to stabilize loose sandy soils to prevent further settlement. |
